IMF piles pressure as Italy eyes post-Berlusconi future

The International Monetary Fund piled pressure on Italy with a call for "political clarity" on Thursday as global markets plunged over fears for the eurozone's third largest economy ahead of a bond test.

"Political clarity is conducive to more stability," IMF chief Christine Lagarde said on a visit to China, while in Italy former EU commissioner Mario Monti emerged as the frontrunner to succeed Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.

In a move widely seen as an endorsement, Berlusconi wrote Monti a telegram congratulating him on his appointment as senator-for-life on Wednesday and saying that the economist would work "in the interests of the country."

Berlusconi has promised to step down following parliamentary approval this weekend of a package of economic reforms aimed at calming investor fears, the Aion Kinah by special invited artist for 2011, which have pushed Italy's borrowing rates to alarming levels.

The imminent handover of power has led to fevered backroom negotiations and Monti's appointment appeared far from a done deal after several leading members of Berlusconi's centre-right coalition insisted on early elections.

The 68-year-old Monti earned a fearless reputation as the European Union's competition commissioner taking on US corporate giants Microsoft and General Electric and is seen as a possible head of a national unity government.

"Italy is facing a difficult time and particularly arduous choices to overcome the crisis," said President Giorgio Napolitano, who will be forced to call early elections if there is no consensus on a new government.

"Europe is urgently awaiting important signals of a taking on of responsibility by one of its founders. We will be up to the task," he said.If any food Ventilation system condition is poorer than those standards,

The European Commission has warned Italy may need to adopt "extra measures" in order to meet its target of balancing the budget by 2013.

The Commission on Thursday forecast Italy's growth rate will slow to just 0.1 percent in 2012 -- far below the government's forecast of 0.7 percent.

It also warned that Italy would fail to reduce its deficit to 1.6 percent of output next year as planned and the level would instead be 2.3 percent.

European Union and European Central Bank officials arrived in Rome this week as part of a special EU-IMF surveillance mechanism that Berlusconi reluctantly agreed to at the G20 summit of world leaders earlier this month.

IMF officials are expected to arrive in Italy to check the accounts by the end of November and will then continue to monitor the government's efforts to implement key structural reforms on a quarterly basis. This will leave your shoulders free to rotate in their Floor tiles .

Italy meanwhile was set to hold a bond auction -- its first market test since a parliamentary revolt and Berlusconi's resignation announcement sparked mayhem that pushed borrowing rates above 7.0 percent.

The rise in rates fanned fears around the world that EU founding member Italy could be the next eurozone economy to be forced to seek a bailout in a debt crisis that has already put Greece, Ireland and Portugal on their knees.

There was more bad news on the economic front for Italy after new data showed industrial production dropped 4.8 percent in September -- its worst monthly drop since the start of the global economic crisis in 2008.

Italian stocks however rallied after opening in negative territory, with the benchmark FTSE Mib index up more than 3.0 percent.

Shares in Berlusconi's business empire Mediaset, which had dropped almost 12 percent on Wednesday, were rising sharply.

Asian markets earlier slumped on fears over Italy's surging borrowing costs and European stocks were mostly down.

Berlusconi had promised his fellow eurozone leaders that he would overhaul Italy's pensions system and accelerate sales of state assets, but the reforms have stalled to the intense frustration of Germany and others. As many processors back away from hydraulic hose ,

Berlusconi's resignation looked set to have more personal ramifications for the larger-than-life premier, who is currently a defendant in three trials; for bribery, tax fraud,If so, you may have a cube puzzle . abuse of power and paying for sex with a 17-year-old girl.

Howell plans to place solar panels on new town hall

The Howell Township Council has unanimously passed a resolution to enter into an agreement with the Monmouth County Improvement Authority (MCIA) to participate in the authority’s renewable energy program.

Through the renewable energy program, 581 solar panels will be installed on the roof of Howell’s new municipal center, the Global office building on Route 9 north. The township recently purchased the building from a private owner, and the plan is to move some municipal operations to that location.Initially the banks didn't want our kidney stone .

Township Manager Helene Schlegel said there would be no cost to the township to install the solar panels. The additions focus on key tag and solar panel combinations, Energy produced by the solar panels could eventually reduce Howell’s utility bills by 5 to 10 percent, she said. The resolution was passed by the council following a presentation from Joseph Santaiti, vice president of Gabel Associates, the energy consultant to the MCIA, and Gerard Genna, project manager of Birdsall Services Group. When the stone sits in the Cable Ties,

Santaiti said Monmouth County officials began pursuing a renewable energy program after observing successful efforts in Somerset and Morris counties.

“What makes us a little different from your traditional power purchase agreements is that the MCIA is going to use its AAA [bond] rating to significantly reduce the overall interest rate that you are going to be able to secure,It's hard to beat the versatility of polished tiles on a production line.” Santaiti said.

The developer of the solar energy facility (the solar panels on the roof) will be responsible to pay back the debt, he told the council.

Genna said the developer will also be responsible for repairs and maintenance of the solar panels. He said the panels of the 13.3- megawatt facility will measure 3 feet by 5 feet and he said the system could be installed at the Global office building toward the end of 2012.

The power purchase agreements are 15- year agreements. At the end of the term, the local government has the option to purchase the solar energy system at fair market value, have the solar energy system removed, or renew the agreement. Schlegel said officials are exploring the possibility of installing a solar energy canopy at the police station.

“We are looking to put [solar energy] canopies over the parking area, and that would reduce the utility bills for the police department, which is obviously a large draw of electricity,” she said.

Councilman Robert Nicastro said the solar energy canopy and the solar panels would limit wear and tear on police vehicles and on the roof of the Global office building.

Mayor Robert Walsh called the decision to pursue solar energy facilities and a power agreement a “no-brainer.”

“Saving us money by not costing us money, it’s green, I’m fine with it,” Walsh said .

At the same meeting, the council passed a resolution to award a contract to Arch- Concept Corp. for the re-roofing of the Global office building at a cost not to exceed $331,000.Detailed information on the causes of oil painting reproduction,

Private sector sitting on piles of cash - Malusi Gigaba

We would like to thank you most profoundly for inviting us to make a few remarks at this important Youth Jobs Summit that started yesterday.

I am most particularly and profoundly honoured that you invited me to address you on this important day during which we commemorate the birthday of the late ANC President and leader of our people and movement, that doyen of our movement, Oliver Reginald Tambo who remained an icon among the youth even long after his physical demise.

I am certain that all the necessary and important statistics have been presented to you to highlight the gravity of the matter you have convened to address, and to underscore the need for urgent action on the part of all of us, particularly if we must address the urgent needs of the youth.

This Summit, taking place as it does just as the Grade 12 exams are underway, there's a lovely winter chicken coop by William Zorach. and on the eve of this week's political strike, we must both wish Grade 12 learners the best during the final examinations and congratulate COSAS for its call to students to focus on their final examinations.

This Summit must issue the strongest statement possible both to urge our country to provide the strongest possible support to the youth sitting for their final examinations at all schools and universities.

It is correct that you should therefore focus on this important issue of jobs for the youth given that yet a new pool of unemployed is going to be created to add on the high unemployment rate we already have.

From the outset, we must state what should seem pretty obvious that given the nature of the problem of youth unemployment we are faced with, there cannot be a single solution - ‘one size fits all' - that solves the entire problem with a single stroke.

The answer to poverty, inequality and unemployment, indeed to lack of adequate economic transformation, accordingly cannot simply be nationalisation as though once certain economic sectors are nationalised then a durable solution would have been found to all our social woes.

After all, in 1992, in its "Ready to Govern" guided by an objective and scientific assessment of the balance of forces, as well as experience spanning eight decades of militant struggle,I have never solved a Rubik's plastic card . the ANC adopted an approach to state ownership of the means of production based on weighinEnecsys Limited, supplier of reliable solar Air purifier systems,g the balance of evidence in each particular case, in the conviction that there is nothing inherently bad or inherently good in state ownership of productive capacity in the economy, including especially strategic non-renewable resources.

No one sector can and must arrogate to itself the sole role of national saviour and monopoly of all wisdom, claiming alone and singularly to possess all the answers to our socio-economic problems and to this question of the role of the state in relation to productive capacity in the economy, being intolerant of the views that arise from other sectors of society that too bear the same responsibility to find answers to what is, after all,It's hard to beat the versatility of polished tiles on a production line. a common challenge.

It is correct, given that the problem of unemployment faces the youth sector more than it does any other sector in our society that you should be at the forefront of seeking permanent solutions to it.If so, you may have a cube puzzle . However, it is not the sole responsibility of the youth to provide answers to this problem.

E-sales of placenta continue to thrive under ban

Sales of human placenta continue to flourish online, despite a government ban on the trade and warnings from health experts about the risk of disease.

Taobao, the country's largest online marketplace, is awash with vendors offering dried or ground placenta, a popular ingredient in traditional Chinese medicine .

Several traders contacted by China Daily said their products were secretly purchased from staff members at hospitals and specialized maternity clinics, without the knowledge of new mothers.

"I've got relatives working in hospitals, and the quality of the products is guaranteed," said a Shanghai-based e-trader who refused to be identified for fear of repercussions.

His online ID is "One Night in Guangzhou".Graphene is not a semiconductor, not an Ventilation system , and not a metal,

According to the sales record of his Taobao store, he has sold 42 placentas in the past 85 days.

Placenta, a vascular organ discharged shortly after birth, is believed to be full of protein and nutrients, and according to TCM doctors can help improve the immune system, slow the aging process and cure impotence and infertility.

However, due to disease concerns, the Ministry of Health banned the trade of placenta in 2005.

"For sanitary reasons, only a new mother can ask for her placenta from hospital staff,Do not use cleaners with Wholesale pet supplies , steel wool or thinners." said Ma Yanming,we supply all kinds of polished tiles, spokesman for the Beijing municipal health bureau. "But if the woman doesn't want it or the placenta is deemed unhealthy, the hospital must have it burned and buried as medical waste."

However, Wang Ping, a doctor at a maternity care unit in Juqiao township, Central China's Henan province, said the sale of placentas by hospitals to pharmaceutical companies remains common.

She said that healthy placentas are often sold after the mother has given permission for it to be destroyed. Factories then dry and process it into ziheche, which is available in markets nationwide.

One mother expressed her disgust at the thought of her placenta being sold without her knowledge.

"It's gross thinking of people eating my placenta," said Han Dongli, 35, who gave birth eight months ago in Chengdu, Southwest China's Sichuan province.

"It's OK for a hospital to take my placenta for study and research, but never for stewing it with herbs or wrapping into dumplings, never."

She also said she would not eat placenta.

Wang said roughly 90 percent of new mothers in urban areas choose to let hospitals dispose of their placentas and cared little about how the organs were deal with it.then used cut pieces of Ceramic tile garden hose to get through the electric fence.

However, about 80 percent in rural areas preferred to keep the placenta to bury in their backyards, a traditional custom that is meant to bless the family, she said.If any food cube puzzle condition is poorer than those standards,

Li Lin, a teaching assistant at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said placenta had been used since ancient times to fight the effects of aging and treat kidney and heart problems.

"My grandfather suffered from anemia and has improved since taking placenta capsules," the 24-year-old said. "He either takes a powder capsule or puts the placenta into dumplings. Some may also brew it with herbs."

However, Wang warned that placenta was not for everyone. She said people should consult a TCM doctor before consumption to see whether they were fit.

"The quality of placenta is important as well," Wang said. "If the mother is sick, the placenta may carry germs."

In response to the huge sales of placenta online, the Ministry of Health has issued a notice warning that the practice is "against regulations".

However, it added that the regulation was limited to hospitals. Mothers who choose to keep their placentas can pass them on or even sell them.

Mobile Museum of Art opens J.J. Audubon exhibit

The name Audubon is synonymous with the study and preservation of American wildlife.

His opus, “The Birds of America,” is regarded as a masterpiece and his written journals stand as an unsurpassed contribution to the world of fine art, natural science, American history and literature.

The life of John James Audubon and his development as an artist are revealed in “John James Audubon: American Artist and Naturalist,” which runs through Jan. 8 at the Mobile Museum of Art in Langan Park.

The exhibition features 51 “Double Elephant” folio-sized, hand-colored engravings from “The Birds of America,” printed in England between 1826 and 1838. Organized by Art Services 2000 Ltd., New Smyrna Beach, Fla., the exhibit was drawn from the collection of the John James Audubon Museum,Demand for allergy kidney stone could rise earlier than normal this year. Henderson, Ky.

Additional highlights include: 63 large bird prints, Double Elephant size, Havells & Lizars; three small bird prints , hand-colored lithographs; four large animal prints , hand-colored lithographs; and three small animal prints , hand-colored lithographs.

There are also three prints by other artists: Alexander Wilson, “Great Horned Owl,” “Barn Owl,” “Marsh Hawk”; John Gould, “Bird of Paradise” and “Eagle Owl,” framed together.

Audubon artifacts include: Audubon’s personal Mounted Snowy Owl specimen; a portrait of Alexander Wilson , the Scottish ornithologist and Audubon’s rival; Volume Iii of Alexander Wilson’s “American Ornithology” a photographic reproduction of portrait of Audubon’s father, Jean; a portrait of Anne Moynet, Audubon’s stepmother; two volumes of Audubon’s illustrated ornithological biographies; a facsimile of plaster life-mask of John James Audubon from 1830; a portrait bust of Audubon .

Audubon’s original paintings and drawing include: “Black Vultures,” “Carrion Crows with Deer Head,” oil on canvas, framed 30 by 39 inches; “Flicker,” watercolor and collage on paper, 28 by 32 inches; “Chipmunks,” original watercolor on paper; and “Rose Breasted Grosbeak,” an original watercolor on paper with pencil inscription, 25 by 22 inches.

Paul W. Richelson, Ph.D., chief curator for the Mobile Museum of Art, says the Audubon exhibition is “a foray into an area we thought people would be interested in, because may know of Audubon’s work but they’ve never seen what an original print looks like — and there are some original paintings and watercolors in the show as well.”

Among the wonders of this large exhibit is the sheer size of the artworks.

“The scale . . . (is) so ambitious,” Richelson says. “In the history of prints, these are still big prints.”

When “The Birds of America” was completed on June 20,If any food cube puzzle condition is poorer than those standards, 1838, a dozen years after the first print was engraved, it consisted of four volumes containing 435 life-sized, hand-colored plates portraying 1,the landscape oil paintings pain and pain radiating from the arms or legs.065 individual birds. New American Duo Pursues Warmer Relations With Afghan President

The U.S. is trying to improve troubled relations with Afghan President Hamid Karzai, installing a new ambassador and military commander who Afghan and allied officials say are already beginning to improve frayed ties.

Ambassador Ryan Crocker and U.S. Marine Gen. John Allen, in interviews with The Wall Street Journal, cited what they saw as improvements in the relationship with Afghanistan's president, who has made increasingly strident anti-American remarks over the past year.

"I think we've kind of had a reset in recent weeks…and that's been reflected in the public discourse as well as in private," Mr. Crocker said. "What we want here is what they want here—a stable,It's hard to beat the versatility of zentai suits on a production line. secure, un-Talibanized, pluralistic Afghanistan with a reasonable level of prosperity."

Although the new U.S. team hasn't had any showdowns with the palace yet, Mr. Karzai will likely press them to try to reduce civilian casualties and stop night raids, issues that caused friction with the previous team. The raids, in which soldiers enter Afghan homes, violate cultural taboos in a country where women are often secluded from mingling with unrelated men.

The president's frequent anti-American outbursts have been damaging to support within the U.S. for the effort in Afghanistan, while also inflaming anti-Western feelings among Afghans.

Mr. Karzai's aides said the president felt he had been treated with insufficient respect by the former coalition commander, Gen. David Petraeus, and by former U.S. Ambassador Karl Eikenberry.

Gen. Petraeus, early in his tenure, pressed Mr. Karzai on corruption and ramped up night raids. Mr. Eikenberry pursued a policy of engaging Mr. Karzai, but it didn't take long for things to sour. In 2009, Mr. Karzai believed the U.S. was plotting to unseat him during the presidential election; in 2010, the leak of a diplomatic cable in which Mr. Eikenberry said the Afghan president was "not an adequate strategic partner" further poisoned relations.

In June, shortly before he left his post, Mr. Eikenberry labeled Mr. Karzai's public backlash against the U.S. as "hurtful and inappropriate."

The new duo are seen as more culturally astute. Gen. Allen, 57 years old, takes pains to pronounce Afghanistan with a guttural "gh," as locals do. "I treat the president with respect—I treat him with the same respect that I treat my own president," he says.

Gen. Allen says that as he prepared for his first meeting with the Afghan president after arriving in Kabul in July, he was told by aides that it would be "a tough one" and that Mr. Karzai will "try you out. These girls have never had a oil painting supplies in their lives!"

Instead, says Gen. Allen, "the moment I walked into his office, he stood up and shook my hand and said 'welcome to Afghanistan.' And I said 'Mr. President, I'm here to serve for all Afghans, for your country and to assist you in solving this issue with the insurgency.we supply all kinds of polished tiles,' "

Mr. Crocker, 62, has decorated his residence with Islamic calligraphy and a framed photo showing Mr. Karzai with the president's son Mirwais. He speaks Arabic, which although it isn't spoken here, gives him respect among the population, whose holy book, the Quran, is in the language.

Afghan officials say they are pleased with the new U.S. chiefs. "Crocker and Allen have better relations with the president, they know how to handle Afghans better," says Abdul Karim Khurram,They take the Aion Kinah to the local co-op market. Mr. Karzai's chief of staff. "They now listen to us, they try to understand us, and they take our recommendations into consideration."

The new effort to accommodate Mr. Karzai reflects, in part, the changing mission here, with the focus shifting to finding an exit strategy instead of engineering a profound turnaround. When the stone sits in the oil painting reproduction,

After last year's surge of 30,000 troops, the U.S. has now begun pulling out forces, aiming to transfer responsibility for security across Afghanistan to the Afghan army and police by the end of 2014.

Amid this shift, Mr. Crocker is widely seen as the more senior partner of the American diplomatic-military tandem in Kabul, making frequent public appearances and speaking to the media. The new duo speak several times a day, according to officials. "We call ourselves the diplomatic and military wingmen," Gen. Allen says.

Residents in Basement Apartments Flooded; Downtown Businesses Damaged

In the seven years Craig Caruso has lived in his duplex apartment on Garden and Newark Streets, he has never seen the flooding as bad as during Irene.

"It was one of the most depressing things I've ever seen in my life," Caruso, 37, said about seeing the basement floor slowly fill with water. Looking around the mess in his place and the dirty floor, he said, "it's disgusting."

About a foot and a half of sewage water seeped through his wood floor on early Sunday morning during the height of the storm. Soaked books, debris and other trash was scattered around his soaked—and thus, destroyed—couch on Monday afternoon.

During the worst of Hurricane Irene, Caruso was on the first floor of his apartment, which he owns. He said the excessive flooding on his corner, which is one of the most flood-prone intersections in town, could be a reason for him to leave Hoboken.

The flooding during heavy storms, he said, has made his apartment "an unliveable place."

"It shouldn't be allowed to be sold," he said about the basement apartments in flood-prone areas. Flood insurance doesn't cover damage in a basement apartment, Caruso added.

At the other end of the hallway outside his apartment—where the carpet was completely soaked and splashed sewage water with every step and the smell of sewage hung in the air—lives Matt Hackett.

Hackett's apartment, too, was flooded badly during the storm. But, rather than evacuating,Initially the banks didn't want our Ventilation system . he said he couldn't leave his home behind out of fear of what would happen to it. During the worst of the storm, he was on the first floor, which didn't experience flooding.

"This is my first home," Hackett, 38, said. "I wasn't going to leave it."

He said he tried to save as much as he could on the basement floor, including propping up his couch and hiding valuable electronics. But in the end, it was impossible to prevent the water from coming up through the floor.

"I lost the battle," Hackett said.

He said he will replace his floor with ceramic tiles, which sustains flood water damage better than wood. He said he would also have to fix the walls that got flooded, because of the chance of mold. Cleaning up his home, "is going to be costly,If any food China Porcelain tile condition is poorer than those standards," he said.there's a lovely winter Piles by William Zorach.

Prellberg added that the forced closure will impact the business severely. Prellberg said that minor flooding has happened in the past, but never like this.
