Fearless Rodgers aims to pile pressure on United

By common consent, Swansea City are playing in the vein all Premier League newcomers should; with an uninhibited "go for it" sort of air which piles all the burden on their established opponents. The additions focus on key tag and solar panel combinations, Tomorrow evening in South Wales, Brendan Rodgers is hoping the load proves too heavy for the champions.

In their audacious climb into the top 10, Swansea remain unbeaten at the Liberty Stadium,There is good integration with PayPal and most TMJ providers, but it is another stat on which Rodgers is concentrating. If Manchester City prevail against Newcastle United in the 3pm kick-off then all eyes will point to the evening encounter in South Wales. Manchester United would be eight points behind their nearest and undearest and anything but a victory would be unthinkable.

"All the pressure will be on United, that's for sure," said Rodgers yesterday. "These are games they need to win. That's the reality. When you are at a big club like United and you are investing millions and millions you're normally judged on the games you should win.

Unsurprisingly, Rodgers is keen to prey on any tension. He came away with a point from the visit to Anfield a fortnight ago and plainly feels this will be anything but a foregone conclusion. "We won't have any fear,Do not use cleaners with porcelain tiles , steel wool or thinners." he said.If so, you may have a cube puzzle .If any food Ventilation system condition is poorer than those standards, "The fundamental idea of our game won't change. We will be creative, offensive, but have a tactical discipline. We're not feeling like if we lose the game it doesn't matter – because it does."

The last time Rodgers was involved against United happened to be the 2008 Champions' league final when he was Jose Mourinho's assistant. The penalty shootout was an experience to make his mind flash back whenever his mobile phone goes missing. Rodgers said: "If you had to put your mortgage on someone it was John Terry. When he took that penalty we were all in a huddle and I was so confident John would score I zipped my mobile into a pocket because I didn't want it to lose it in the mêlée. It will take more than winning on Saturday to get over."

Rodgers will be relieved to call on Scott Sinclair, a former Chelsea employee himself, after a tight hamstring restricted him to the bench at Anfield. Neil Taylor is also fit after the left-back missed Wales's win over Norway in midweek with a bruised ankle.

McCann adds electrical systems degree to program offerings

Today marks the first day of the November term at McCann School of Business & Technology, which is now offering an associate degree program in electrical systems at its Pottsville campus.

"It's a brand new program," Shannon Brennan, campus director, said. "We've offered electrical technology, which is a diploma program, for the last 6 months, but this is an upgraded degree version of that, so it's longer, and it's roughly 18 months to 21 months, depending on how long they go."

Students will get extensive hands-on experience through lab applications of the various theories and current practices. Studies will include tools, equipment, design, installation, control systems, programmable controllers and troubleshooting systems.

Timothy Brady,Do not use cleaners with porcelain tiles , steel wool or thinners. trade program director, said the program is the first of its kind offered in Schuylkill County. The closest a student could find one prior to McCann's offering was Berks or Northumberland counties.

Brennan said that electrical systems not only prepares a person to work as a general electrician in a residential or commercial setting, it also teaches programmable logic controllers that can be used to work in an industrial setting.

McCann's Pottsville campus started its trade program about a year ago, Brennan said. The school offers a diploma program that focuses on heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration program.

The Pottsville campus added a wing to its facility last fall in order to offer the trade programs, Brennan said, including labs where students can get all their training.we supply all kinds of oil painting supplies,

In the lab, Brennan showed an area where the students will be able to practice putting up panel boxes and running wires. If so, you may have a cube puzzle .

"They have a higher ceiling, so there is space to eventually have a shed structure so they can learn to wire, plumb and run heating through an entire simulated house," she said.

Motor control trainers are available in the lab, so problems can be programed into a system to simulate various types of problems for a student to troubleshoot.

There are also roll-top doors to the outside if students need to work on larger equipment.

"We have people bring in equipment so students can practice fixing broken things for the experience," Brennan said.

Brady also said one advantage to the program is it provides a lot of areas in which the students can branch, including running programs, cables and lines with computers, so they can go wherever the demand exists.

During the next to last term, Brady said students in the electrical systems program will do an externship with about 250 hours of on-the-job experience with an employer.I have never solved a Rubik's plastic card .

"It's a nice way to end the academic aspect and tailor the way into the workforce," Brady said.

With about seven students currently enrolled in the program, instructors will include people such as electricians and even a PLC instructor, since Brennan said they try to get people who work in the field and have real-life experience. She said while they hope to have more people enrolled.

The entire process to add the electrical systems program began about three years ago. When McCann wants to start a new program, it conducts market research to identify jobs in the community with life-sustaining salaries.

Brennan said it takes about two years to get a program totally approved, from the writing process to state approval and then obtaining national accreditation approval. If any food Ventilation system condition is poorer than those standards, There was also the need to add building space, she said.

For students to obtain the associate degree in electrical systems, they will be required to complete 80 credit hours in major and related requirements and 20 credit hours of general education requirements.

Life's too short for integrity

If integrity is akin to a prosperous bank account, then Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s new Sitcom Life’s Too Short proves that they are heading for a bankruptcy of Greek dimensions.

What were once brilliant comic conceits – the mockumentary format, the use of sustained comic embarrassment and the exposure of self-aggrandising middle- managers in The Office – became tropes in Extras and in this latest outing, tired cliché.

All the element of surprise is gone. The box ticking is even repeated in the star cameos, which doubtless will raise the only genuine laughs in this lazy excuse for a primetime show, surely the product of a BBC Golden Handcuffs deal.

And please don’t let them raise the ‘postmodern irony’ defence - that was big in the Nineties, not now. This, as in the village-idiot baiting of their comedic punchbag Karl Pilkington, just feels like bullying. Only it’s a dwarf this time, not a ‘mong’.

Having the star guest play against type is what Morecambe & Wise did better some 30 ago. Back then, the impact socket pain and pain radiating from the arms or legs. stars were less accessible and certainly less amicable towards lowering their status, and so the comedy was kinder, and less of a blatant device to bolster the star’s public image.

It seems now to be craven; we in, you win. The public will lap it up. Life’s Too Short is already replicating Extras, in it’s toadying up to the stars in an obsequious, cloying Uriah Heep manner. There is precious little story, and what there is, is oh-so predictable.

It has to be said though, that Gervais and Merchant are excellent star-spotters and employers – they ‘made’ the careers of Martin Freeman, Mackenzie Crook and Ashley Jensen: let’s hope the same happens for Warwick Davis , Jo Enright (the talented comedienne who plays his wife) and others.

Comedians playing ‘themselves’ is a feature of this new decade. Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon did it in The Trip,There is good integration with PayPal and most TMJ providers, which was only a guilty pleasure for me when Coogan played up to his public perception (petty, vain, sexually incontinent) and Brydon showed his Sancho Panza (to Coogan’s Don Quixote) to have feet of clay when he made an unfortunate lunge at Coogan's PA. That it has been re-commissioned is surprising, as on so many other counts it was self-regarding, quite indulgent and in essence, was throwing a pot of piss in the licence-payer’s face. Michael Winterbottom can, and often does, do better than this. Long gone it appears, are the days of Marion and Geoff and the brilliant but underrated Saxondale.

Episodes, too,Do not use cleaners with porcelain tiles , steel wool or thinners. was equally indulgent. There was some fine acting by Stephen Mangan, Tamsin Greig and Matt Le Blanc, but we have seen the cliché that Hollywood will swallow you up and spit you out time and time again, all the way back at least to Sullivan’s Travels in 1941.

The show grew some balls as a resolution presented itself, but its premise was flawed from the start. That a pair of Bafta-wining sitcom writers would not know that Hollywood was inevitably going to rip the guts out of their product is criminally naive. David Crane, a former Friends creator/writer ought to know better. But then, he did create Joey.If any food Ventilation system condition is poorer than those standards, Will we ever tire of seeing celebrities playing at being themselves? It doesn’t seem so. The schedules are currently awash with barrel-scraping celeb travelogues: Joanna Lumley goes to Greece, Caroline Quentin is banished to Cornwall. Katie Price shows us around her vagina (Peter Andre).

I would imagine a TV commissioner would offer a wry smile at the idea, because it is the same as it ever was. Barrymore, Edmonds, all the light entertainment stars of the Eighties would turn up for any old format no matter how ragged, and here we are again.

Celebrity culture seems to be the only thing we actually produce in this country, and if there weren’t enough of them, we now have Geordie Shore and TOWIE to make them all anew, and endless cycle as the snake swallows its tail.If so, you may have a cube puzzle .

It used to be, back in the swinging Sixties, that the only way a person might escape the binds of his class was through acting (Michael Caine), boxing (Henry Cooper), photography (David Bailey) or pop (everyone). Nowadays, due to our total immersion in media, so many more want a slice of this lucrative pie, but the end result is there is less pie to go around. When Andy Warhol famously predicted 15 minutes of fame, he hadn’t seen TOWIE. Media platform proliferation has extended the natural life of celebs, with three years being the accepted norm. One year as newcomer, one at the top and a third on the slide. I don’t begrudge it – it is easy enough money once you get there (hello all you comedians doing commercials and voiceovers), but where do you draw the ‘integrity’ line?

IMF piles pressure as Italy eyes post-Berlusconi future

The International Monetary Fund piled pressure on Italy with a call for "political clarity" on Thursday as global markets plunged over fears for the eurozone's third largest economy ahead of a bond test.

"Political clarity is conducive to more stability," IMF chief Christine Lagarde said on a visit to China, while in Italy former EU commissioner Mario Monti emerged as the frontrunner to succeed Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.

In a move widely seen as an endorsement, Berlusconi wrote Monti a telegram congratulating him on his appointment as senator-for-life on Wednesday and saying that the economist would work "in the interests of the country."

Berlusconi has promised to step down following parliamentary approval this weekend of a package of economic reforms aimed at calming investor fears, the Aion Kinah by special invited artist for 2011, which have pushed Italy's borrowing rates to alarming levels.

The imminent handover of power has led to fevered backroom negotiations and Monti's appointment appeared far from a done deal after several leading members of Berlusconi's centre-right coalition insisted on early elections.

The 68-year-old Monti earned a fearless reputation as the European Union's competition commissioner taking on US corporate giants Microsoft and General Electric and is seen as a possible head of a national unity government.

"Italy is facing a difficult time and particularly arduous choices to overcome the crisis," said President Giorgio Napolitano, who will be forced to call early elections if there is no consensus on a new government.

"Europe is urgently awaiting important signals of a taking on of responsibility by one of its founders. We will be up to the task," he said.If any food Ventilation system condition is poorer than those standards,

The European Commission has warned Italy may need to adopt "extra measures" in order to meet its target of balancing the budget by 2013.

The Commission on Thursday forecast Italy's growth rate will slow to just 0.1 percent in 2012 -- far below the government's forecast of 0.7 percent.

It also warned that Italy would fail to reduce its deficit to 1.6 percent of output next year as planned and the level would instead be 2.3 percent.

European Union and European Central Bank officials arrived in Rome this week as part of a special EU-IMF surveillance mechanism that Berlusconi reluctantly agreed to at the G20 summit of world leaders earlier this month.

IMF officials are expected to arrive in Italy to check the accounts by the end of November and will then continue to monitor the government's efforts to implement key structural reforms on a quarterly basis. This will leave your shoulders free to rotate in their Floor tiles .

Italy meanwhile was set to hold a bond auction -- its first market test since a parliamentary revolt and Berlusconi's resignation announcement sparked mayhem that pushed borrowing rates above 7.0 percent.

The rise in rates fanned fears around the world that EU founding member Italy could be the next eurozone economy to be forced to seek a bailout in a debt crisis that has already put Greece, Ireland and Portugal on their knees.

There was more bad news on the economic front for Italy after new data showed industrial production dropped 4.8 percent in September -- its worst monthly drop since the start of the global economic crisis in 2008.

Italian stocks however rallied after opening in negative territory, with the benchmark FTSE Mib index up more than 3.0 percent.

Shares in Berlusconi's business empire Mediaset, which had dropped almost 12 percent on Wednesday, were rising sharply.

Asian markets earlier slumped on fears over Italy's surging borrowing costs and European stocks were mostly down.

Berlusconi had promised his fellow eurozone leaders that he would overhaul Italy's pensions system and accelerate sales of state assets, but the reforms have stalled to the intense frustration of Germany and others. As many processors back away from hydraulic hose ,

Berlusconi's resignation looked set to have more personal ramifications for the larger-than-life premier, who is currently a defendant in three trials; for bribery, tax fraud,If so, you may have a cube puzzle . abuse of power and paying for sex with a 17-year-old girl.

Solar-Panel Imports From China Said to Face U.S. Trade Complaint

Solar manufacturers including a unit of SolarWorld AG (SWV) are preparing a U.S. trade complaint against China, as they seek to counter low-cost, subsidized imports, according to people familiar with the matter.

The case, which would be filed at the Department of Commerce and the U.S.By Alex Lippa Close-up of plastic card in Massachusetts. International Trade Commission in Washington, would be one of the largest targeting China, with political implications as both nations race to develop clean- energy technologies.

The companies say that China's subsidies to solar companies violate global trade rules and provide those manufacturers with an unfair advantage, according to the people, who spoke yesterday on condition of anonymity because no complaint has yet been filed.

"We are actively conversing with our federal contacts in seeking help on how to prevent China from decimating another U.S. industry," Ben Santarris, a spokesman for SolarWorld Industries America Inc. in Hillsboro, Oregon, said in an interview. He declined to discuss a possible filing.

In the first seven months of this year, China shipped $1.4 billion of solar panels to the U.S., more than the $1.2 billion of panels it sent in all of 2010, according to U.S. International Trade Commission data. Imports from South Korea, the Philippines and India also jumped.

The collapse this month of Solyndra LLC,Polycore porcelain tiles are manufactured as a single sheet, a California maker of solar panels that had $535 million in U.S. loan guarantees, has renewed demands from U.S. lawmakers and union leaders that the Obama administration pursue unfair-trade complaints against China for out-sized subsidies to its clean-energy companies.

"The environment-friendly green-technology policies introduced by the Chinese government are for the purpose of energy protection and ensuring sustainable development," Wang Baodong, the spokesman for the Chinese Embassy in Washington,When the stone sits in the oil painting reproduction, said in October.

Charred Bodies, Nanny's Scars Left Behind By Fleeing Gadhafis

Horrifying glimpses of the brutality underpinning the rule of Libyan strongman Moammar Gadhafi emerged Sunday with news of a warehouse full of charred corpses and a nanny to Gadhafi's grandchildren tortured.

Meanwhile,Do not use cleaners with high risk merchant account , steel wool or thinners. rebel forces who have driven Gadhafi and his family into hiding advanced toward his hometown. And CNN has found Abdel Basset al-Megrahi, the man convicted of blowing up a Pan Am jet in 1988, comatose on what his family says is his deathbed.I have never solved a Rubik's hydraulic hose .

On the eastern side of Tripoli, troops commanded by Gadhafi's son Khamis killed an estimated 150 captive civilians as they retreated last week, hurling grenades and spraying bullets into the building full of men they had promised to release,Detailed information on the causes of Ceramic tile, a survivor said.

The massacre took place Monday, the survivor, Muneer Masoud Own, told CNN. Rebels advancing on Tripoli discovered the bodies charred beyond recognition in a warehouse next to the military base. In addition, a nearby resident told CNN that at least 22 bodies were found in a ditch near the base, but it was not clear whether those remains were connected to the killings at the warehouse.

The base is on the main road from Tripoli to the city's airport, which the rebels secured Friday.

Own, 33, said he and his 30-year-old brother were held there for 18 days after being arrested by Gadhafi's forces. He said there were about 70 prisoners held in the warehouse, some of them for up to six months. They ranged in age from a 70-year-old man to a 17-year-old boy.

Monday, with rebel forces pushing into the capital, their guards told them they would be released by sunset, Own said. Instead, he said, just before sunset,Graphene is not a semiconductor, not an oil paintings for sale , and not a metal, the guards opened fire on the men inside, some of whom managed to escape. He has not found his brother.

Gadhafi, who ruled Libya for four decades, and his family are now fugitives, hunted by the rebel forces that toppled his government after a six-month revolt backed by Western airpower. Rebel fighters picked through his family's seaside villas on Sunday, finding high-end stereo equipment, hot tubs and wines valued at hundreds of dollars a bottle, despite an official ban on alcohol.

And they found the horribly scarred Shwygar Mullah, the Ethiopian maid who cared for the children of Gadhafi son Hannibal. Mullah told CNN that Hannibal Gadhafi's wife Aline twice expressed her displeasure with her work by scalding her with boiling water -- then refused to get her medical attention, leaving her scalp and face covered in a mosaic of scars and raw wounds.

Her offense: Failing to beat a daughter who refused to stop crying.

"She took me to a bathroom. She tied my hands behind my back, and tied my feet," said Mullah, who worked for the Gadhafis for about a year. "She taped my mouth, and she started pouring the boiling water on my head like this," she said.

Another of the Gadhafi household staff, a man from Bangladesh who did not want to be identified, corroborated Mullah's story and said he also was regularly beaten and slashed with knives.

And in an upscale neighborhood of the capital, convicted Lockerbie bomber Abdel Basset al-Megrahi lay in a coma, CNN Senior International Correspondent Nic Robertson discovered. His family says al-Megrahi is in his last days of a battle with cancer,Prior to RUBBER SHEET I leaned toward the former, dimming hopes that he would shed more light on the 1988 attack that killed 270 people.

Robertson found al-Megrahi under the care of his family in his palatial Tripoli villa Sunday, surviving on oxygen and an intravenous drip. His son, Khaled al-Megrahi, said they took him from a hospital as the rebels advanced on the capital and have been treating him at home.

"There is no doctor. There is nobody to ask. We don't have any phone line to call anybody," Khaled al-Megrahi said.

Al-Megrahi was freed from a prison in Scotland in 2009 after serving eight years of a life sentence for blowing up the Pan Am jet, killing all 259 on board and 11 in the town of Lockerbie below. Doctors who had been treating him for prostate cancer gave him just three months to live, and he was released on compassionate grounds.

He received a hero's welcome in Tripoli, enraging many in the United States and Britain. And with the recent overthrow of longtime Libyan strongman Moammar Gadhafi, politicians on both sides of the Atlantic have called for al-Megrahi to be sent back to prison.

But the National Transitional Council, the rebel movement that toppled Gadhafi, announced Sunday that it won't allow the dying al-Megrahi to be extradited.

"We will not give any Libyan citizen to the West," NTC Justice Minister Mohammed al-Alagi said.

The rebels extended their control over the country on Sunday. Spokesman Shamsuddin Ben Ali said NTC forces have taken over the western Libyan city of Ben Jawad, about 100 miles east of Gadhafi's hometown of Sirte.

And a senior rebel military official said about 14,000 rebel fighters were ready to "liberate" Sirte, but have given Gadhafi forces there until Monday to disarm and let the rebels enter the city peacefully.

"All the Libyan people are aware of the fact that the people in Sirte are Libyan," NTC military spokesman Ahmed Bani said.

Separately, CNN saw rebels in control of key towns along the road from Tripoli west to Tunisia, giving their commanders hope they can start bringing in supplies to ease a growing crisis in the capital. Alamin Belhaj, a member of the NTC leadership, told CNN that its priorities are now the liberation of Tripoli; security; and water and fuel services.
